Sometimes buying a cooking appliance, indoors or outdoors can be daunting. Especially when it’s something you have to light up yourself. However this quick and easy light up guide with an instructional video makes it very easy to follow.
There are different heats for different needs but once you know the types of heat and how to get those heats, the possibilities are endless with the Morso Forno Outdoor Oven.
Easy Light Up Guide
To begin you need to start the fire, it’s the same as bonfire but obviously on a smaller scale.
You start by stacking large pieces of wood at the bottom and smaller pieces at the top.
Go ahead and fill the Forno with wood.
Allow 30 minutes for the wood to burn through. After this you add some more sticks, you should have a nice bottom of embers.
Once you have a nice heat and maybe some steam coming off of the Forno you’re ready to go.

This is a great way to create delicious dishes, smoked fish being a favourite.
After that we need to move the heat around. We will start by moving the embers around the edge of the Forno in a half circle, we want a nice even heat.
You then take the Morso Tuscan Grill and place it inside the Forno along with a dusting of smoke dust over the closest embers.

Cooking a Pizza
Using this easy light up method to get the Forno ready, you need to heat the Forno up between half an hour to an hour so as to get the perfect heat for your pizza.
You then need to push the embers to the back of the Forno in a half circle for even heat leaving enough room for your pizza.
Once you are ready place the pizza in and bake (using the Morso Alu Pizza Peel) for 2 and a half minutes, not forgetting to turn and bake for another 2 and a half minutes. In total it’s around 5 minutes for a delicious crispy pizza.
